First let me welcome you to my webpage; I hope you find the information you need.
I am a qualified counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. This ensures that you will receive an ethical, professional and accountable service from me. I provide a space that is safe, non-judgemental and welcoming in which you will be heard and understood.
My counselling approach…
I have called my service Find Your Way as often life events can leave us feeling lost, alone and uncertain of what's next. Or maybe you are feeling down, anxious, or need some support to achieve a
goal. Working together with a counsellor can help you untangle your thoughts & emotions, understand your behaviours and figure out your choices. I work relationally and use many
approaches dependent on your needs. My counselling room is calm and located in my garden. I have sensory resources available and can use creative approaches to support the
therapeutic process.
I find I am often asked what sort of things I work with, the honest answer to this is that I will support my clients with whatever they wish to consider and have worked effectively with clients on many concerns and struggles. In particular bereavement, illness, relationship breakups, supporting elderly parents, anxiety and stress. Over the past few years I have completed additional Young Persons training and have been working as a school counsellor. I am pleased to be able to offer private counselling to young adults (from age 13). In particular I am experienced with working with people who identify as neuro-diverse and other SEND needs and am able to offer an inclusive and understanding service to individuals and to parents/carers.
